Leading Educator Role
This position plays a crucial role in enhancing teacher capacity to integrate digital literacy, emerging technologies, and data-informed practices across the curriculum. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring staff and students have the necessary skills for future learning and employment.
About the Role
* Develop and implement strategies to embed digital literacy, AI integration, and data literacy across the curriculum.
* Lead the implementation and optimization of Toddle LMS for curriculum planning, assessment, feedback, reporting, and student portfolios.
* Collaborate with curriculum leaders, year-level teams, and leadership to ensure coherence and consistency in digital literacy initiatives.
* Provide coaching and mentoring to teachers on embedding digital tools into everyday pedagogy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Embed digital literacy consistently across Years 7-12, aligned with Victorian Curriculum 2.0.
2. Strengthen staff confidence and capacity in data literacy, digital tools, and AI integration through coaching and professional learning.
3. Fully implement Toddle LMS as the central platform for planning, assessment, and student portfolios.
4. Equip students with digital citizenship, computational thinking, and creative technology skills for lifelong learning.
Qualifications and Experience
* Teachers currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
* Demonstrated experience in the curriculum area(s) specified for the position.
