Barwon Heads Hotel Barwon Heads Hotel is looking for experienced Chef de Partie who will be required to perform general or specialised cooking, butchering, baking or pastry cooking duties and/or supervise and trains other cooks and kitchen employees. The potential for career development Remuneration: Annual salary range on offer: $75,000 to $81,000 per year plus super Task & responsibilities Is required to perform general or specialised cooking, butchering, baking or pastry cooking duties and/or supervise and trains other cooks and kitchen employees To manage the development of apprentice cooks Performing specialized cooking duties Maintaining a clean and sanitized workstation Following kitchen standard operating procedures Supervising of cooks of a lower grade Training cooks of a lower grade Ensure staff are performing to standard operating procedures and if not, escalate to the responsible manager
To actively provide suggestions to the responsible manager To follow company Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times To report any unsafe practices or situations to the manager on duty immediately
To adhere to all company policies and procedures at all times Qualification & experience You have a culinary qualification of Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or Diploma in Hospitality Management You have 3+ years’ experience in a similar role Demonstrated ability to multi-task Experience supervising staff Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment
