Offer description

Overview
At Breathe Psychology, we believe healing happens in a space of safety, respect, and collaboration. We are a values-driven, trauma-informed private practice dedicated to delivering outstanding care—and we're seeking a capable and experienced
Practice Manager
to help us bring this mission to life.
This is your opportunity to join a trauma-informed psychology practice where your leadership will directly shape the client and team experience. You'll oversee the operational heartbeat of the practice—systems, people, finance, compliance—and will work closely with the Directors to translate strategic vision into day-to-day action.
About the Role
You'll lead and supervise administrative staff and support all clinical staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, and ensure our systems are running efficiently and ethically.
Overseeing reception and admin operations (including being confident with front desk tasks).
Managing finances: payroll, invoicing, budgeting, and reporting via Xero.
Recruiting and onboarding non-clinical team members.
Ensuring compliance with OH&S, WorkCover, Fair Work, and privacy legislation.
Maintaining a safe, inclusive, trauma-informed environment for staff and clients.
Managing facilities, IT systems, contractors, and infrastructure.
Coordinating marketing, website content, and GP/community engagement.
Play a key role in operationalising the Directors' strategic plans, driving service improvements, and supporting new initiatives across the practice.
About You
3+ years' experience in practice or operations management (preferably health or allied health).
Strong team leadership, delegation, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication—clear, compassionate, and professional.
Proficiency with Xero, Microsoft 365, and practice management platforms.
Understanding of legal obligations under OH&S, Fair Work, and privacy legislation.
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and genuine passion for client care.
