Civil Division
for a landmark bridge strengthening project in Canberra. This two-year project presents the opportunity to be part of technically complex civil works while developing your skills and career within a global engineering leader.
About the Role
In this role, you will play a key part in delivering bridge strengthening, bearing replacement and structural rehabilitation works. Working alongside experienced project leaders, you will be involved in every stage of delivery — from planning to completion.
You will:
* Support the planning and execution of bridge strengthening and bearing replacement works
* Assist in the coordination of FRP strengthening and post-tensioning operations
* Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and daily site activities
* Uphold safety, quality, and environmental standards across all site operations
* Track budgets, schedules, and progress, providing accurate reports to the Project Manager
* Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to achieve successful project outcomes
About You
You are an engineer with strong technical foundations and a passion for delivering high-quality civil projects. You enjoy solving problems, working collaboratively, and seeing tangible results from your work.
You will bring:
* A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or a related discipline)
* Previous experience in bridges, structures, or civil infrastructure projects
* Knowledge of FRP works, bearing replacements, jacking, or post-tensioning (highly regarded)
* Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
* A strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
