We work with Boards, Chairs, CEOs and Private Equity-backed leadership teams to appoint senior executives and directors across Australia's mid-market. Our work is methodical, relationship-driven and delivered at a high level for the clients we serve. We're now looking for an Executive Search Associate to join our national team of five Partners and one Researcher.
About the Role
You'll be the operational backbone of a busy, collaborative team running executive searches across mid-market corporates, PE-backed businesses, NFPs and listed entities — typically at CEO, C‐suite and Board level.
It's a varied, fast‐paced role where no two searches are the same. You will play a key administrative role supporting the team, as well as engage directly with senior candidates and client stakeholders.
Day to day, you'll be across:
* Preparing candidate briefing packs and supporting long list development
* Conducting desktop research and coordinating with local and offshore research support
* Managing diaries, interviews, WIPs and travel
* Delivering exceptional candidate care across active executive searches
* Conducting pre-screens and reference checks
* Maintaining CRM excellence and data integrity
* Identifying potential leads through candidate engagement
* Supporting events and online brand presence initiatives
Who You Are
You're organised, commercially aware and comfortable working at pace. You bring professionalism and discretion to everything you do, and you understand that at the senior end of the market, the details really do matter.
* An experienced recruiter looking to step away from a billing role without leaving the industry behind
* A professional who wants flexibility within a high-performing team, potentially returning to the workforce after a career break.
* Someone with an EA, or operations background who's drawn to the commercial side of executive search
You'll bring:
* Confidence engaging with senior executives and Board-level professionals
* Strong organisational skills and sharp attention to detail, particularly desktop skills such as PowerPoint and Excel
* Comfort with technology and a genuine interest and curiosity in how AI is shaping recruitment
* A proactive, intuitive approach — you anticipate what's needed before being asked
* Prior recruitment or executive search experience is highly regarded
