We are seeking three Sheetmetal Workers to join a specialist engineering and fabrication team that produces high-quality stainless-steel equipment for the meat-processing industry.
This includes the manufacture of abattoir production machinery, conveyor systems, and a range of custom stainless-steel fabricated products.
Role Details
Hours: 10-hour days, Monday to Friday
Start Time: 6:00am
Additional Hours: Saturdays available
Pay: $50 per hour casual + penalties
Location: Logan area (workshop-based)
Travel: Occasional travel across Queensland for installation or project work (allowances provided)
Key Responsibilities
Stainless Steel Fabrication & Welding
TIG and MIG welding on thin–medium gauge stainless
Cutting, shaping, forming, and assembling stainless-steel components
Polishing and finishing stainless to hygienic, food-grade standards
Operating fabrication equipment such as guillotines, press brakes, rollers, and folders
Abattoir Production Equipment & Conveyor Systems
Fabricating platforms, chutes, tables, guards, tanks, and processing components
Building and assembling conveyor frames and related stainless structures
Installing brackets, supports, guarding, rollers, and tensioning systems
Mechanical fit-out during equipment assembly and onsite installation
About You
Trade-qualified Sheetmetal Worker or equivalent industry experience.
Strong stainless-steel fabrication and welding skills.
Able to work 10-hour days with optional Saturdays.
Willing to travel occasionally for installation or project work.
