About the Role
We are seeking an early career environmental professional to join our highly regarded Bunbury team. The role will be diverse, working primarily in bushfire management with some environmental assessment and approvals. Project management and regular client liaison will be key to the role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake desktop and on-ground site inspections.
* Prepare a range of bushfire and environmental assessment and reporting outputs.
* Conduct site inspections to inform opportunities and constraints assessments.
* Work towards or apply relevant WA bushfire policy and guidelines.
* Assess environmental attributes and identify practical solutions for clients.
* Deliver high-quality approval applications and technical reports.
* Develop relationships with clients and ensure customer service throughout projects.
About You
You will have at least 2 years' experience in environmental management, assessment or approvals, or prior experience in or a desire to move into bushfire management planning. You will also have:
* A tertiary qualification in Environmental Science or Engineering.
* Previous experience working in environmental assessments and approvals and/or bushfire assessment and management.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
* A motivated team player who enjoys working with a close-knit group of professionals.
