Key Responsibilities
* Assist guests with day-to-day operations, ensuring professional and friendly service is provided at all times.
* Clear and reset tables, maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the dining area.
* Have an unbridled passion for food and share knowledge of Italian cuisine with patrons.
* Confidently explain menus to guests, assist those with special dietary needs, and provide enthusiastic recommendations.
* Anticipate guest needs, create unforgettable experiences, and provide exceptional customer service.
* Collaborate with team members to respond to guest requests and resolve issues professionally.
* Assist with event set-ups and functions in the conference suites and restaurant.
Requirements
* Previous customer service or hospitality experience.
* A valid RSA Certificate.
* Ability to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
* Great communication skills, presentation, and confidence to engage with guests.
* Passion for upselling items and maximising sales opportunities.
* A calm nature in high-pressure situations.
* A team player who can assist in all areas of F&B operations during peak times.
