What's the role?

The Lead Editor – Visual and Motion Design is a hands‐on creative role responsible for delivering high‐quality video editing, compositing, motion graphics, animation, and audio across the organisation's brands and client projects. This role sits within the creative team and works closely with multiple teams to bring ideas to life through moving image and sound.

You will be the go‐to person for turning a brief into a polished, platform‐ready piece, whether that is a hero film, video case study, hype reel, animated explainer, or suite of social cutdowns and digital assets. The role demands a high standard of craft, ensuring every deliverable is technically sound, creatively considered, and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities

* Edit, composite, animate and finish work across, commercial, social and digital, including motion graphics and audio.
* Interpret briefs and creative direction to deliver work that clearly communicates the intended message and tone.
* Maintain a consistently high standard of craft across every output, protecting brand integrity and technical accuracy.
* Collaborating closely with creatives and stakeholders to deliver on time and on budget.
* Proactively contribute ideas during creative development, helping to shape work beyond execution.

Who are you?

* 5+ years' professional experience in video editing, motion design or a closely related creative discipline.
* A portfolio that shows range ideally spanning long‐form editorial, short‐form social, motion graphics and campaign work.
* Background in agency, studio, in‐house brand or commercial content production.
* Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects, and/or DaVinci Resolve.
* Strong compositing skills, with the ability to integrate layers, footage, graphics and effects into seamless outputs.
* Familiarity with 3D workflows (Cinema 4D, Blender or similar) is a strong advantage.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate creative rationale to diverse stakeholders.
* You have a genuine passion for visual storytelling and emerging creative technologies.
