SAP S/4HANA Technical Integration Consultant
NSW State Government Agency | Parramatta | 6 Month Contract | Major Transformation Program
A large NSW State Government agency is delivering a high-profile enterprise transformation, migrating from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA across approximately 20,000 staff and 30 agencies.
We are seeking a hands-on SAP Technical Integration Consultant to step into a critical delivery role as the program moves through integration testing, UAT, cutover and go-live. This is NOT a Business Analyst role. This is NOT a functional HR/Finance/Procurement SAP position. This is a technical integration delivery role with ownership of end-to-end integration streams.
The Opportunity
You will join an established integration team and report directly to the Integration Lead. With go-live scheduled for July, the next 3–4 months will be delivery-intensive and highly visible.
You will be responsible for driving integration testing and ensuring downstream systems are connected, validated and production-ready across both:
* B2B scenarios
* A2A (application-to-application) integrations
This is a bridging role between business requirements and technical implementation within S/4HANA — requiring strong SAP technical credibility and integration architecture understanding.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive end-to-end SAP integration streams through testing and delivery
* Map business requirements into technical integration design and execution
* Conduct and lead integration workshops
* Work closely with downstream application owners
* Partner with dedicated testing teams to progress integration testing cycles
* Support UAT, cutover activities, go-live and hypercare
* Ensure integration patterns and connectivity align with enterprise standards
What We’re Looking For
* Strong SAP technical background (not purely functional)
* Demonstrated SAP integration experience in complex environments
* Experience with integration patterns across enterprise systems
* Proven track record supporting programs through testing and go-live
* Ability to bridge business requirements into technical SAP outcomes
* Prior exposure to S/4HANA highly desirable (not mandatory if broader SAP technical depth is strong)
Ideal candidates will have delivered integrations within large-scale enterprise or government transformation programs.
Environment & Location
* Parramatta based (NSW)
* Currently 2 days per week onsite (typically Thursday & Friday)
* Government return-to-office policy may increase to 50%
* Collaborative 8-person integration team
