An entry-level Coal Quality Tester position is available at our Emerald Laboratory Site, offering the potential for long-term employment for the right candidate. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be involved in quality, turnaround time, client service, and productivity.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Collection and receipt of coal samples Performing preparation and analytical tests Manual handling of buckets and drums Sample preparation Data entry Checking and validating results Maintaining laboratory equipment Driving to collect and deliver samples Skills and Attributes: Focus on safety, quality, and teamwork Attention to detail Good organization and communication skills Reliability and trustworthiness Science diploma or degree (highly regarded) Valid manual driver's license Ability to work rotating shifts (day and afternoon) Benefits & Culture We value our employees and offer benefits such as health fund discounts, salary sacrifice options, superannuation benefits, and career development opportunities, including global prospects for suitable candidates.
