The Opportunity
In this role you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all areas of the Distribution Centre, whilst delivering exceptional customer service.
The successful candidate will provide on-site supervision of the Cleaning Team Members and Leading Hands across all shifts.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage the induction of all new Team Members according to both City and Coles requirements.
- Oversee the maintenance of food safety and hygiene standards across all areas of the DC, while adhering to all Health and Safety procedures
- Ensure the correct use of chemicals, equipment and machinery by all team members
- Develop strong working relationships and a positive team environment.
- Work with team members to ensure work schedules are completed to quality standards, within required time frames.
To be considered for this role you will:
- Previous experience supervising cleaning team members, including roster management. Ideally in the food service industry or commercial supply chain environment.
- Current driver’s licence and vehicle (desirable)
- Build and maintain solid working relationships.
- Intermediate to advanced IT skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
- Ability to work flexible hours when required.
