Job Summary
In this role you will report to the Program Director and be responsible for supporting initiatives and activities that foster positive relationships with the community, contractor and project stakeholders, to ensure the project's strategic communication objectives are achieved.
Major Responsibilities
* Build relationships across the assigned scope, including early stakeholder engagement and open, honest communication to establish trust and regular updates on project milestones.
* Collaborate with the stakeholder engagement team and other teams across the Capital Portfolio to engage internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
* Research, write, edit, and maintain communications content for the team, including face‐to‐face engagement, electronic updates, and intranet management.
* Coordinate the implementation and maintain policies, procedures, and processes that ensure consistent, efficient stakeholder engagement and communication.
* Support and participate in community forums, events, and consultations as a Capital Portfolio representative.
* Assist with requests for internal and external messaging/content about the Capital Portfolio.
* Promote a positive image of the Capital Portfolio's work, industry, and contributions.
* Facilitate information sharing between contractors, project teams, and stakeholders.
Education and Experience Requirements
* Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5‐8 years of relevant experience or 9‐12 years of relevant work experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills
* Skill in working and communicating effectively, both orally and in writing, with other project functional groups; proven ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
* Self‐motivation, independence, and adaptability in dynamic environments.
* Strong administration skills with high attention to detail.
* Excellent skills and experience building trusted, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
