About This Program
The step up/step down program provides alternative options to hospital admission, early intervention and more options for support for people with a mental illness particularly following inpatient admission, subject to consumer need.
The programs aim to improve mental health outcomes for the target group as well provide opportunities to increase knowledge, skills and confidence to manage future crisis, through increased awareness of, and capacity to access community resources and support networks, as well as education and training and employment where appropriate.
About The Opportunity
In this role, you'll be responsible to maintain the day-to-day operations and administration of both the Adult and Youth Step Up/Step Down residential rehabilitation programs to people with a mental illness living within the ACT.
The Program Coordinator will provide support by managing staffing and rosters; coaching and mentoring support to team members, meeting contractual KPIs and objectives of the program, working within program budget, promotion of program and in-service presentations, data and monthly reporting updates on both Programs and six-monthly progress reports

You will need:
* Tertiary Qualifications in a social science or related discipline
* Current valid Driver's License and the ability to undertake travel for the role
* Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening Check
* Right to Work within Australia
* Satisfactory National Police Records Check
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
