About the role
This is a full-time role based in Caboolture, Queensland as an automotive technician at NWM innovations, a leading provider of automotive services and solutions. You will be responsible for fitting accessories to a wide range of new vehicles to the highest standard, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our customers.
What you'll be doing
* Fitting of automotive accessories including van shelving, flooring, roof racks, seats and windows
* Building small bus fitouts
* Bespoke vehicle solutions including wheelchair van fitouts and driver controls
* Custom fitouts including mobile office and mobile medical vehicles
* 12 volt electrical, fabrication and manufacturing, welding and fitting of vehicle fit outs
What we're looking for
* Qualification in automotive mechanics or a related fabrication field or panel beater/body builder
* Prefered at least 5 years' experience as an automotive technician, preferably in a workshop environment
* Must have Permanent work rights in Australia
* Mechanical, electrical or fabrication skills
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
* Good communication skills to liaise with customers and team members
* A valid driver's licence and your own tools
