Photographer/Videographer (Ground Based and Aerial)
Overview
Airview Group requires the service of a multi-disciplinary photographer and videographer in a full time role based in Sydney, Australia starting as soon as possible.
Airview Group specialises in high quality aerial and ground-based photography, videography and survey, and is comprised of 3 business divisions. We are seeking to fill a full-time role in the Airview Photo & Film division which is prominent within the commercial real estate, property development and events & marketing sectors. Airview Photo & Film produces content captured from the ground, from drones, from helicopters and from planes in Sydney and around the country. Local and interstate travel is to be expected as part of the role.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work primarily within the Airview Photo & Film division, although there will be opportunities for further training and expansion of operating scope if desired. The Airview Drone Services and Airview Fire Recon divisions will be suitable for candidates who have, or seek to gain, experience with large sized drones and helicopters respectively.
The successful candidate will primarily be involved with photo and video capture and editing. They will be responsible for driving to specified locations and accurately capturing the required content as briefed by Airview's clients or team leaders. They will also be responsible for delivering the raw or edited files on time to the company's internal editing team and/or file delivery system. They will be responsible for appropriately preparing for all jobs in order to guarantee smooth and efficient operations on site. They will also be responsible for maintaining the high standards of work that Airview has built its reputation on over 25 years, and present themselves as professional and approachable to the company's clients at all times.
Candidates must hold a valid full Australian driver's licence as the role requires regular travel to various shoot locations. Petrol and mileage costs will be covered if the candidate uses their own vehicle for work-based travel.
Qualifications
While no formal qualifications are required, the successful candidate will be proficient in the use of photographic and videographic equipment. Experience with drones is expected, however additional drone flight training will be provided to ensure they meet the company's standard of safe operations. Experience working for real estate or property clientele will be highly valued.
Airview is a small business composed of highly skilled, self motivated and cooperative individuals and we seek candidates who would be a great fit in this environment. The company allows full-time working from home, or to be based at our office space in Brookvale NSW, however a lot of work for this role will be on location of the shoots that are being captured.
We seek trustworthy and mature candidates who enjoy autonomy and a job full of variety and problem solving. Flexibility of work hours is expected to allow for content capture in a wide range of timings and locations, however Airview allows different options to recoup or compensate for non-standard work hours.
Remuneration will be a full-time salary and dependent on the candidate's prior experience and skillset.
