Volunteer Opportunity – Companion for Afternoon Support - Brightwater The Village Inglewood
We are seeking a kind, patient volunteer to provide companionship for Pamela, one of our female clients who would benefit greatly from calm, reassuring interaction.
About Pamela
Pamela has a very supportive daughter who visits regularly. In the afternoons, she can become vocal and unsettled, and what helps most is:
* gentle, relaxed conversation
* listening to music she loves – Elvis Presley, Tom Jones, and piano music
* talking about her favourite things, including cats and her special fondness for Highway Petrol
Volunteer Role
We are looking for someone who can:
* offer calm, reassuring company
* chat with Pamela in a warm, understanding manner
* enjoy music with her or play her favourite songs
* help create a soothing, comforting environment
Preferred Time
From around 1:30 PM for an hour
Your presence could make a significant difference to Pamela's afternoons, bringing comfort, connection, and companionship.
