Parks Maintenance Operator Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Parks Maintenance Operator.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate a range of equipment including trucks, 4WD spray units, tractors, and horticultural equipment to maintain parks and reserves.
* Undertake horticultural activities such as earth working, mulching, weeding, pruning, digging, raking, planting, spraying, and watering.
* Contribute to job safety analyses, take five assessments, and report any hazards or incidents.
* Monitor and report any hazards or damage on parks or equipment.
Requirements:
* A relevant qualification in horticulture or turf management is desirable.
* A current MR or HR class driver's licence and Construction Induction Card are required.
* A Basic Worksite Traffic Management certificate and Chainsaw Competency certificate are also necessary.
* A First Aid certificate is essential.
* Experience in operating horticultural plant and equipment safely and competently is expected.
