With the ability to design and construct both Transmission substation and renewable energy projects, they are continuing to grow, with a focus on their estimation division.Job DescriptionWith this growth, they are looking to hire an experienced senior/Lead electrical estimator, who will help to grow and lead the estimation department.
This role will be hired on a full time, permanent basis, located in Sydney.The Successful ApplicantAs the successful applicant, you will have previous experience as an Electrical estimator, delivering successful quotations and tenders for substation and/or renewable energy projects, Ideally you will have experience on Transmission level substations for clients such as Transgrid, Ausnet services etc.
However, we would consider people from the distribution level who have worked on zone substation projects.Your reputation and knowledge will allow you to build lasting relationships with the client, suppliers and potential subcontractors alike, and your ability to successful quote and win work with a high success rate will put you in good standing for this position.
You will also have strong leadership skills, as you will be expected to mentor, coach and develop junior engineers.What's on OfferIn return, a highly competitive salary will be offered.
