The role will be supported with a large established network of referral business partners and extensive and loyal client SME client base. The Role – Senior Risk AdviserThe primary focus of the role is to provide a high level of service and advice to an existing list of clients through personal interaction, client reviews, and education services. Working closely with the support team you will provide “High Touch” relationship management and servicing to a wide variety of clients. You will manage an allocated list of clients – circa 350 conducting the review process. Maintain service levels and grow the book. By enriching clients knowledge and enhancing relationships increase the value of advice and grow the book through organic servicing. Build new business relationships developed in partnership with the Business Development Team primarily via the Austbrokers GI network. As an advocate for the business, engage in the business’s advice philosophy and service delivery by pro-actively supporting activities around the brand, marketing and relationship management of third party referral partners. Achieve agreed annual targets with upfront revenue and recurring revenue with respect to on-going advice fees, insurance fees, and client numbers. The Person – Senior Risk AdviserIdeal applicants will have 5 years’ experience in a client facing Insurance advice role encompassing a broad range of client types and demographics. Additionally, you will have direct experience working with business clients on Buy/Sell and Keyman relationships. You will demonstrate a high level of client service ethic, aptitude and capabilities, working knowledge of the Insurance industry and on-going regulatory change. Ideally you will have:1. Degree in finance, business related field2. Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning3. Successfully completed FASEA exam Advanced interpersonal relationship skills, strong analytical skills and eye for detail, client service focus and a genuine desire to help others are a must. High energy levels, new client engagement skills, lateral thinking capabilities and commercial aptitude will be expected. RemunerationBase salary negotiable plus superannuation, and annual incentive bonus.
