Project Manager – Live Events & Theatre Installations
Gold Coast | $100,000 – $120,000 + Super
Theatre Safe Australia (TSA) is a national leader in theatre safety, venue infrastructure, and installations in the live performance industry. We work across schools, performing arts centres, commercial venues and major productions—delivering technically complex projects safely and professionally.
We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Projects Department, based on the Gold Coast, reporting to the Department Manager.
About the role
You'll be responsible for managing projects from planning through to installation and handover. This is a hands‐on role requiring strong coordination, communication and attention to detail—working closely with clients, builders, consultants and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within scope.
Key responsibilities
* Plan and manage project delivery, including schedules, resources and milestones
* Coordinate procurement of materials, subcontractors and site activities
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, builders and consultants
* Review and manage drawings, variations and design updates
* Monitor site progress, quality and safety compliance
* Track budgets, costs and project documentation
* Manage any required works and coordination necessary to enable accurate and on‐time preparation of progress claim invoices
* Provide regular progress updates to the Projects Department Manager
About you
* Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction, infrastructure, or technical installations
* Strong ability to read and interpret construction and technical drawings
* Confident communicator with builders, consultants and clients
* Highly organised, proactive and solutions‐focused
* Comfortable attending sites and managing multiple workstreams
* Experience with AutoCAD or similar software is desirable, not essential
