Overview
Casual Concrete Delivery HR Drivers/Relief Plant Operative – Heidelberg Materials Australia. Driving a concrete agitator truck is more than just getting from A to B. Our Agitator drivers provide high levels of customer service to our clients, becoming the face of our business. As an Agi Driver, you will make multiple deliveries throughout the day and interact with lots of different people. Every day will be different.
Responsibilities
- Rate: $40.76ph (inclusive of loading) plus penalties (1.5x after 8 hours, 2.0x after 10 hours).
- Operate batch plant
- Use of Front-End Loader (ticket desirable)
- Based at Toowoomba Concrete Plant reporting to the Plant Manager
- Typically start between 4:00 am and 6:00 am; up to 8+ hours per day, around 40–50 hours per week. Saturday work is generally available, paid at overtime rates
- Monthly travel may be required within the region; meals and accommodation are supplied
- Interacting with customers and representing Heidelberg Materials on site
- We provide technology to keep you safe, map routes and track loads
- All new starts go through a 10-day training program before working independently
About You
- Minimum of HR license (essential) with previous driving experience (preferred)
- You enjoy meeting people and having a chat with them onsite
- You prefer variety in your working life; no two days are the same when driving one of our Agi trucks
- You take pride in the appearance of your truck. You are a mobile billboard and people notice a dirty truck
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test (random testing is conducted on Heidelberg Materials sites)
