Bookkeeper & Admin All-Rounder – Flexible schedule | Solomons Flooring Gepps Cross
Location: Gepps Cross & Mile End, SA Employment Type: Flexible Part-Time / Full-Time (20–40 hours per week) Start Date: Negotiable Weekend Work: Alternate weekends on the sales floor Salary: Based on experience
Solomons Flooring & Luxaflex Gepps Cross is a flooring and window fashion gallery. We share space with BBQ Adelaide stores and operate across multiple locations with a focus on quality, customer experience, and operational excellence. We’re looking for a skilled bookkeeper who also thrives in admin, customer service, and IT. This is a high-responsibility role reporting directly to the business owner.
Responsibilities :
- Invoicing, reconciling accounts, checking supplier statements
- Assisting admin and sales staff with daily operations
- Answering phones and managing customer queries
- Improving internal systems and supplier relationships
- Supporting the business owner with general admin and errands
- Training team members and helping boost cost efficiency
- Be comfortable across both store locations
- Alternate weekend availability on sales floor
- Split tasks between Gepps Cross and Mile End locations
Qualifications & Attributes :
- Fully qualified bookkeeper — no training required
- Confident working with systems and software
- Strong customer service skills — phone, email, and face-to-face
- Highly organised, proactive, and people-savvy
- Able to support admin/sales team and train staff when needed
- Willing to assist in improving processes and managing suppliers
- Experience with invoicing and supplier management
- Leadership qualities and a solution-focused mindset
Work Arrangement :
- Flexible start/finish times and work days
- Work between 20–40 hours a week — flexible to suit you
Location & Schedule :
- Split tasks between Gepps Cross and Mile End locations
