We are seeking a dynamic Social Media & Marketing Manager to lead our digital presence, promote our diverse event programming, and ensure Miami Marketta continues to thrive as one of the region's most loved cultural destinations.
Role Overview
The Social Media & Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, creating and executing Miami Marketta's marketing and communications strategy across digital platforms. This role requires a highly organised, creative thinker who can work both strategically and hands‐on — from planning campaigns and analysing performance data to capturing live content during events.
Working closely with the Creative Director and programming team, the role plays a key part in promoting live music, events, traders and special activations across the precinct.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Digital Content
Plan, create and schedule engaging content across multiple social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook and other relevant channels
Provide real‐time social media coverage during events, capturing live music, crowd moments and venue atmosphere
Develop creative content including video, reels, photography and promotional posts
Manage community engagement, comments and direct messages
Website & Digital Platforms
Create and maintain website content including event listings, gig announcements and venue updates
Ensure daily maintenance and accuracy of website information
Implement SEO strategies to improve search visibility and online traffic
Marketing Campaigns
Plan and execute
Coordinate and promote live music gigs, including announcements, ticketing links and artist promotion
Develop and manage Meta advertising campaigns including pixel tracking and performance optimisation
Create and manage membership program
Media & Communications
Liaise with local press, media outlets and marketing agencies to promote events and initiatives
Assist with the development of press releases and media opportunities
Maintain strong relationships with local media networks
Design & Production
Undertake in‐house design and print tasks for posters, event materials and promotional collateral
Ensure visual consistency across marketing materials and digital platforms
Contribute to strategic marketing planning for events, seasonal campaigns and venue promotion
Track and report on digital analytics including social media performance, campaign reach and ticket sales metrics
Provide regular marketing insights and reports to the Creative Director
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in social media management and digital marketing
Strong content creation skills including photography, video and copywriting
Experience managing Meta advertising and pixel tracking
Understanding of SEO, website management and digital marketing tools
Experience creating and managing EDM campaigns
Basic graphic design skills (Adobe Suite or similar)
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to work evenings and weekends during live events
