Role – General Manager
Continuing to adapt, grow and evolve they are now looking for an experienced leader to work with the Managing Director, lead the operations and delivery the strategic growth and diversification objectives of the business.
* Provide leadership across all divisions being Construction, Finance, Joinery, Customer Service/Admin through 4 direct reports, total team 30+
* Collaborate with the MD to diversify the business, increasing non-insurance business provide consistent volumes throughout the year
* Monitor & drive delivery of client & internal key performance indicators
* Develop strong relationships across all partners/li>
* Lead client engagement through performance reviews, industry events & PR activities
* Support innovation & drive continuous improvement
* Develop processes & strategies to deliver efficiency, profitability & quality outcomes for clients
* Foster a culture which recognises effort, achievement & loyalty, and values its people
* Stay current with industry trends, best practice & regulatory changes to ensure the business adapts as required
Experience Preferred (not essential)
* Previous experience within the Insurance, Insurance Building, Restorations or Residential Building & Construction sector
Essential
* Experienced and collaborative people leader who values culture & can maintain a strong employee value proposition
* Strong problem solving, negotiation & decision making capability
* Commercial & business acumen, with ability to leverage data to inform decisions & improvement initiatives
* Strong client relationship skills with effective verbal and written communication
