Senior Service Technician - WA (Crane Mechanic | HD Mechanic | Plant Mechanic)

About the Role
This position based in Hope Valley, WA will see you as the go-to Senior Service Technician. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment, providing on-site and in-the-field client support, and ensuring that our clients receive the best service possible. You will also mentor our Service Technicians to develop their skills and capabilities. Your work will involve troubleshooting complex issues, assisting service technicians, and performing routine maintenance, making a significant impact on our growing business.
What You Will Bring to the Role
* Applicable Mechanical Trade Qualification
* Demonstrated experience as a Senior Service Technician or in a similar technical role
* Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
* Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
* A customer-centric mindset with excellent communication skills
* A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to various job sites
* Ability to effectively repair and maintain plant, machinery, and equipment
* Ability to work safely and in compliance with HSE guidelines
* Ability to write and interpret reports, work plans, and carry out electronic business correspondence
* Willingness to work overtime or travel as needed
* Achieve daily planned maintenance targets, including inspecting and reporting on completed tasks
* Maintain accurate daily work records and report issues or repairs to the Supervisor
* Ensure workshop stock and critical spares levels are maintained and updated
