Role Overview
This is a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales Manager role, leading the way with weddings and social events.
You will drive sales, build strong relationships, and oversee event planning and execution, ensuring seamless high-end celebrations that reflect our brand values.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and executing sales strategies to attract new wedding and social event business
* Maintaining and growing existing client relationships to meet revenue targets
* Creating detailed event documentation, including Banquet Event Orders and floor plans
* Collaborating closely with Convention Services, Banquets, and Operations teams
* Confirming contracts, payments, and event details with clients
* Representing the hotel at site inspections, tradeshows, and familiarisations
* Ensuring all events reflect the high standards and ethos of 1 Hotels
About You
We are looking for someone with:
* 4+ years of sales experience in luxury hospitality or event management
* Proven ability to manage end-to-end event sales, planning, and execution
* Confident using sales and event systems (e.g., Delphi or similar platforms)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Highly organised, proactive, and able to multitask under pressure
* Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset
* Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
* Passionate about sustainability and meaningful guest experiences
