The Role (Head Chef)

From custom-built hearths to a meticulous wood programme and ageing techniques, this is a kitchen defined by precision, restraint and intent.
As Head Chef, you'll take full ownership of one of Queensland's most respected kitchens, leading from the front across every aspect of the operation:
* Lead a high-performing brigade in a fully fire-led kitchen
* Champion a produce-driven, technique-focused menu rooted in seasonality

Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Head Chef in a world-class premium dining environment
* Strong foundation in fire-led, charcoal, woodfired or open-flame cooking (or a genuine passion to specialise in it)
* Experience using Humanforce, Lightyear, Cooking The Books or similar platforms
* Deep understanding of produce, butchery, ageing and preservation techniques
* Confident managing high-performing teams, with a focus on culture and development
* Commercially astute - comfortable with COGS, labour and operational performance
* Calm, composed leadership style with high attention to detail
* A genuine appreciation for the theatre and discipline of service
