Our clinic at the North West Medical Centre in Burnie is currently seeking a permanent full time experienced Radiographer to join our team! As the area's main provider of radiology services, you will be exposed to a multitude of unique and interesting cases, in both a public hospital and busy outpatient clinic environment.
Reporting to the Chief Technologist, in this role you will be responsible for driving high quality and efficient imaging services across a range of modalities including General X-Ray, CT and theatre. The role is a 10-day fortnight rotating roster, working 7.6 hour shifts between 7:00am – 11:00pm, with weekend and on call work as required.

Key responsibilities:
8. Managing patients and operating specialised medical imaging equipment such as General X-Ray, CT and Theatre II
9. Consistently delivering high levels of patient care and service
10. Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers
11. Promoting and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards

Key selection criteria:
18. Current relevant Radiography Radiation licence and professional registration
19. Appropriate qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology/Diagnostic Medical Radiography
20. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff
21. Previous experience in CT is an advantage, but training in CT will be offered to the right candidate
