Casework Director
Our Community Services Centres are seeking passionate professionals who want to make a positive impact in the lives of children and families across NSW. As a Casework Director, you will lead a team of caseworkers and support workers to deliver high-quality, child-centred practice.
* Lead coordination of daily priorities and resource allocation.
* Support caseworkers and support workers to deliver evidence-informed practice.
* Apply knowledge of best practice casework to drive consistent service delivery through quality assurance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Practise effective group and individual supervision.
* Lead practice and implement change, reform, and quality improvement initiatives.
* Quality assure information and records for children and young people.
* Prepare and review legal documentation, briefings, and correspondence.
* Initiate court proceedings and provide instruction to caseworkers in all court matters.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology, social science, welfare, or a related discipline.
* Demonstrated experience in applying best practice casework with children, young people, and their families.
* Experience leading and managing teams in complex situations.
* A demonstrated understanding of trauma-informed care and the impact of poverty, trauma, and violence on children and their families.
