Job Summary
This role supports the implementation of Climate Resilient Communities (CRC) by providing technical advice and guidance to program managers to strengthen integration of climate and disaster resilience across the development program.
The Role
The Climate and Integration Adviser will provide input and advice on integrating climate across the development program, conduct climate integration program clinics and training, support capability building and mentoring of staff, and support performance reporting regarding climate adaptation and mitigation.
About You
Candidates must have tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, strong knowledge and experience in building climate and disaster resilience, and extensive experience in international development activities related to strengthening climate and disaster resilience.
Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in climate change, environmental or social sciences, natural resource management, environmental engineering, or a related field
* Strong knowledge and experience in building climate and disaster resilience, with a preference for the sectors of food security, water security, or energy transition
* Extensive experience and contemporary knowledge of international development activities related to strengthening climate and disaster resilience and sustainable development in Indo-Pacific
