Seven Corp on behalf of RKM Rollers Company Overview: RKM Rollers is a market leader in the design, performance, supply and manufacturing of conveyor idlers and mine structures. With over 35 years' engineering experience in the conveyor industry, and with offices in Australia, along with manufacturing facilities in China, and Australia, RKM has been well-positioned to provide tailored engineering solutions for our clients in the mining sector. As part of our ongoing activities, an urgent position for a Metal Machinist is required.
This position will be responsible for the operation of our CNC and hydraulic plant and equipment in manufacturing and assembling a range of metal components for end-user products. This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week, based in our facility in Welshpool, WA. Main tasks:
* Programming and operating CNC and hydraulic press machines to manufacture and assemble a variety of metal components for end-user products.
* Liaising with the China factory to ensure consistency of manufacturing processes and machinery operation.
* Operating machines for fabrication & assembly of conveyor rollers as per drawings/specifications provided.
* Adhering to safety procedures and always maintain high quality of work.
* Maintaining equipment and diagnosing/repairing faults where necessary.
Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience:
* Minimum of a Certificate III plus 1 year' relevant work experience in the last 5 years.
* 3 years' relevant work experience may substitute the formal qualification.
* Ability to read and speak Chinese to operate machining equipment and communicate with Chinese stakeholders highly desirable.
* Good mechanical aptitude with previous experience performing mechanical tasks.

Annual salary will be between $76,000.00 to $86,000.00 (plus superannuation) depending on level of experience. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
