Civil Engineer Position
UGL is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing civil works projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement project plans, work schedules, and methodologies for civil works projects.
* Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
* Oversee on-site construction activities, managing subcontractor performance and resolving site issues.
* Promote and enforce health, safety, environmental, and quality policies across all civil project activities.
* Liaise with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to provide regular updates and manage expectations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
* Proven experience delivering civil engineering works in infrastructure, utilities, or construction projects.
* Strong understanding of civil design principles, construction methodologies, and relevant Australian standards.
* Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
