Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure, scalable, and resilient platform that our customers can trust.
You will work closely with our product development, architecture teams, and stakeholders to improve product infrastructure and operations. Your technical expertise and experience will be crucial in designing and implementing resilient and scalable architectures, including high availability and disaster recovery strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
2. At least 7 years of hands-on experience managing virtual software, especially containerized workloads, and high-traffic enterprise solutions in production
3. Expertise in defining and managing scalable Kubernetes workloads
4. Ability to configure and customize Linux-based environments based on application needs
5. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, virtual networking, Kubernetes Network Policies, and AWS CloudFront
6. Ability to perform automated testing using Cypress
7. Experience with live database upgrades
8. Adept at writing and managing Helm and Terraform scripts using GitOps principles
9. Knowledge in integrating password management systems with Infrastructure as Code
10. Proficient in bash and Python for network service integration
11. Extensive experience creating customized Docker images
12. Experience with DevOps and DevSecOps SDLC practices
13. Good understanding of security principles at network, server, and container levels
14. In-depth understanding of SDLC
15. Experience with MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Vault, Consul, and similar AWS services, including live data migration with minimal downtime
16. Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Rundeck
17. Experience with load testing and benchmarking tools
18. Strong communication skills in English
19. Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment
20. Detail-oriented approach to building secure and stable software
21. Experience with Agile practices like Scrum or Kanban
