ALLFENIX is a Melbourne-born activewear brand redefining Pilateswear through considered design, performance‐led fabrics and elevated everyday silhouettes.
Alongside our core brand, our private label division designs and supplies high‐volume, commercially driven collections to leading international retailers across multiple categories.
We are entering a strong growth phase and expanding into new categories, increasing retail partnerships and investing in our team to support that momentum. This role will play an important part in that next stage.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a true end-to-end design role.
You will own the full product lifecycle, from interpreting buyer briefs and building range concepts through to finalising tech packs and delivering bulk production.
You will work across:
* Womenswear, including athleisure and lifestyle
You will also lead monthly trend research across these categories, identifying emerging directions in colour, silhouette and fabrication to inform upcoming ranges.
You will manage multiple clients and retail partners at once, gaining exposure across different markets and price points. As the private label division expands, so will the scope of this role. You will help shape how the division evolves.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
* Translate buyer briefs into commercially strong and cohesive range proposals
* Develop seasonal and core collections across womenswear and sleepwear
* Create detailed CADs and production‐ready tech packs
* Lead monthly trend research and present findings to inform range direction
* Manage sampling from first prototype through to final fit approval
* Communicate directly with offshore factories to keep development on track
* Design to cost and margin targets without compromising quality
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You understand the product development lifecycle from concept through to bulk production. You are commercially savvy and comfortable taking full ownership of your categories.
* 4 to 8+ years of apparel design experience
* Strong womenswear background, athleisure or lifestyle preferred
* Experience in sleepwear highly regarded
* Strong technical understanding of garment construction and fabrication
* Confident communicating directly with offshore suppliers
* Highly organised and able to manage multiple timelines
