The Transport Accident Commission (TAC) is a Victorian Government- owned organisation whose role is to promote road safety, support those who have been injured on our roads and help them get their lives back on track.
Under a 'no-fault' scheme the TAC covers the costs of injuries and offers support services for individuals injured on Victorian roads regardless of fault in an accident.
Additionally, the TAC plays a crucial role in promoting road safety across the state.
Reporting to the Executive General Manager, Enterprise Transformation, the Chief Digital Officer will play a key leadership role ensuring the capability of the organisation's digital services and technology are fit for purpose to deliver business operations and services.
The Chief Digital Officer will lead and contribute strategically to the development of the digital and technology strategies and establishing digital and technology objectives.
To achieve the TAC's strategy and Corporate Targets, the Chief Digital Officer will provide vision and governance to the digital and technology plans ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, industry best practices, and to guide future developments in digital and technology, system design.
The Chief Digital Officer will lead the Digital Delivery Branch which consists of engaged and high performing workforce of passionate professionals.
Responsibilities
Lead and govern the Digital Technology Function for TAC.
Develop and implement digital strategy aligned with TAC's corporate targets.
Oversee digital delivery, ensuring services meet business and customer needs.
Guide enterprise architecture and adopt industry best practices.
Champion innovation and continuous improvement across digital platforms.
Build and nurture high-performing teams and foster a culture of collaboration.
Qualifications & Experience
Senior leader with proven expertise in enterprise-level digital transformation and innovation.
Strong track record in strategic planning, development, delivery, and operational support.
Excellent analytical, conceptual, and judgment skills.
Exceptional stakeholder management that builds collaborative partnerships internally and externally.
Demonstrated success in driving change and guiding teams through delivery in a changing environment.
