Job Opportunity:
This is a permanent Water Management Supervisor position available in Perth, Western Australia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising, managing and directing the duties of operator & maintainer teams to deliver required water volumes for production tonnes and to ensure maximum availability & capacity from the water facilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Direct supervision of process operator & maintainer and contractor teams to ensure water facilities are available to fulfill plant requirements.
* Ensuring all maintenance targets are achieved and the plant is maintained in a safe condition.
* Scheduling maintenance work to minimise impact on production.
* Ensuring suitability and availability of equipment spares through liaison with area maintenance and maintenance planners and schedulers.
* Contribution to Murrin Murrin policies, procedures, and competency-based training programs.
Requirements
* A Water Management Supervisor with previous experience within a continuously operating plant.
* A Western Australian drivers' licence (HR or higher preferred).
* Successful completion of an approved WHS Risk Management unit for statutory supervisors in the mining industry.
* Evidence of successfully passing an applicable legislation examination for statutory supervisors.
* At least 2 years of experience as a supervisor in a similar operation or industry.
* Poly Welder Certification.
* Telehandler licence.
* A strong understanding of both production and maintenance strategies for large-scale continuous operating process plants.
* A sound understanding of mechanical and chemical processes.
* Experience with rostering and shift planning.
