Day Farms is a progressive, family-owned broadacre cropping and transportation enterprise looking for a dedicated individual to join our growing team. Operating across 25,000 acres of winter crop in Oaklands and an additional 18,000 acres of mixed operation in Deniliquin, we pride ourselves on being an advanced farming enterprise that stays at the forefront of the industry. We are currently seeking a skilled professional to fill a dual-capacity role that balances high-level workshop maintenance with the operation of seasonal machinery, based in Oaklands, NSW. The Role This position is designed for a versatile professional who is equally comfortable in the workshop as they are in the paddock. You will be primarily responsible for keeping a modern fleet of farm machinery and equipment maintained to a high standard, ensuring all vehicles are operational and efficient. Beyond mechanical duties, you will play a key role in our broadacre operations, including cropping and spraying. This is an immediate start position for someone who enjoys the variety of maintaining and operating equipment during peak seasons. The Offer The successful candidate will be offered an industry-competitive, hourly rate, dependent upon experience, in conjunction with a 3-bedroom brick family home, with school bus access available at the farm gate. Electricity and a work vehicle are also included in the package. Located in the Riverina, Oaklands boasts good old-fashioned country charm, with a pub, swimming pool and both primary and secondary schooling. You will enjoy a great lifestyle with Mulwala and Yarrawonga only 50km away, and the larger regional hub of Albury within 100km.
