Occupational Health and Safety Specialist Job Description
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in commercial new build projects in Australia with a strong understanding of health and safety regulations, along with relevant qualifications in this field.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and manage all aspects related to workplace health and safety
* Conduct regular site inspections, pre-starts & toolbox meetings
* Identify and assess potential risks to ensure compliance with current legislation and building codes
* Perform regular audits and inspections of the work environment
Requirements:
* Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety
* A minimum of two years of experience in WHS in commercial projects
* Ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels within the organization
* Strong knowledge of current legislation, regulations, and building codes
