Key Responsibilities
The Technical Support Specialist & Trainer will be responsible for:
1. Providing first level local escalation and support for technical service queries;
2. Training new service technicians in D4k technology and certifying them as Nordex qualified;
3. Regularly providing training updates where appropriate or where new or updated procedures are implemented by the Nordex Group;
4. Analyzing defects with phone-contact to service coordinator;
5. Autonomous simple repairs of turbines, troubleshooting and fault-finding;
6. Carrying out complex repair processes in collaboration with the Lead Technician;
7. Collecting data and performing tests;
8. Filling in reports and checklists to inform the Local Operation Manager;
9. Monitoring booked service reports and steering the service process to book expenses correctly;
10. Ensuring tasks are realized with high quality and on time;
11. Realizing tasks in the most economical way for Nordex;
12. Being responsible for material, tools and property of Nordex;
13. Carrying out tasks in accordance with Nordex manuals and regulations;
14. Maintaining all H&S related instructions and guidelines and work safety for material and personnel.
