Operational Excellence Leader
This role is responsible for driving seamless stock flow and efficient operations, ensuring a positive customer experience by embedding streamlined processes both front and back of house.
* Lead the team to deliver operational excellence through effective stock management and loss prevention activities, adhering to established standards.
* Partner with retail management and visual merchandising to drive a culture of continuous improvement, seeking opportunities to enhance stockroom efficiency and refill processes.
* Manage daily financial operations including end-of-day reconciliation, banking procedures and secure cash handling in accordance with company policy.
* Provide training and development for the team on operational excellence, including key processes like stock availability and inventory management.
* Maintain a well-organised and efficient stockroom, managing deliveries and ensuring accurate inventory management, as well as ensuring the safety and security of the stockroom.
* Identify and raise opportunities to further operational efficiency via process improvements, utilising available technology and sharing best practice.
Key Capabilities
* Demonstrated experience in a stockroom or warehouse management role, ideally within a retail environment, with a strong understanding of inventory management systems and processes.
* Proven ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve operational goals, with excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Strong understanding of WHS procedures and practices, with proficiency in using relevant software and tools for stock management and reporting.
