About the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Events Coordinator to join our national team. This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates who are, or hold, Australian citizenship.The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our national calendar of events—from strategy to execution. This is not a simple process-following role. We are looking for someone with a strategic mindset, who can anticipate challenges, manage multiple priorities, and drive outcomes with confidence and autonomy.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, coordinate, and deliver a diverse range of national events across various platforms and locationsDevelop event proposals and detailed costings in line with budget constraintsLiaise with vendors, stakeholders, and internal teams to confirm logistics and ensure smooth deliveryContribute to the strategic planning and continuous improvement of event processesCapture and distribute meeting notes and action itemsManage timelines, deadlines, and communications across multiple eventsSupport marketing and communications related to events in collaboration with the broader teamWork collaboratively as part of a diverse and remote national team while reporting directly to the CEO
About YouYou're not just an organiser—you're a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, autonomous environment. You bring at least 3 years' experience in events coordination, and have either project management or marketing knowledge that enables you to deliver results at a high level.
Essential CriteriaMinimum 3 years of proven experience in event coordinationDemonstrated understanding of project management and/or marketing principlesAbility to manage competing deadlines and priorities independentlyStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsExcellent attention to detail, time management, and organisational skillsMust have your own phone and car, and be comfortable working remotely from homeConfident in working autonomously with minimal supervisionComfortable reporting directly to a CEO and engaging with senior stakeholders
DesirableExperience working in a not-for-profit or purpose-driven organisationFamiliarity with virtual and hybrid event formatsExposure to CRM or event/project management software
