The Paramedicine Team at Edith Cowan University (ECU) is looking for a lecturer to join the team at our Joondalup campus in Perth.
What You'll Do
* Undertake contemporary teaching practices in the paramedicine programs.
* Coordinate and develop strategically aligned curriculum that aligns with course and industry expectations and best evidence‐informed practices.
* Foster an inclusive learning environment that encourages active student participation and critical thinking.
* Provide mentorship and guidance to students by supporting their academic and professional development.
* Stay current with advances in paramedicine and incorporate relevant updates into the curriculum.
* Collaborate with colleagues and industry to enhance the overall quality of the paramedicine programs.
About You
* Registration with the Paramedicine Board of Australia (Ahpra) with no conditions.
* Current working rights in Australia.
* Working towards or holding a postgraduate degree in Paramedicine or in a relevant field with significant relevant clinical experience as a paramedic.
* Demonstrated interest in tertiary level teaching and learning including the development and delivery of online learning.
* Proven experience developing strong professional partnerships and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrated student‐centred learning and teaching philosophy.
* Personal attributes that are congruent with the University's values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Courage, and Personal Excellence.
