Salary – DO1, $113,720.00 to $138,575.00 + 12% Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice Benefits

Part Time (0.2 FTE), Term Contract (Temporary for 12 months)

About the role

Deliver safe, effective paediatric dental care across inpatient, outpatient and theatre settings. Support clinical governance, lead quality improvement, contribute to teaching and research, and report to the Dental Unit Head while working closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Key duties of the role
* Deliver safe, efficient paediatric dental care across inpatient, outpatient and theatre services
* Lead ward rounds, maintain accurate clinical records and provide first-on-call after-hours cover
* Drive quality improvement by monitoring standards and undertaking clinical audits
* Support patient-centred care through clear information, response to issues and rights awareness
* Contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and case presentations
* Support departmental research and assist with project development and implementation
Skills and Experience
* Registered Dentist or Dental Specialist with the Dental Board of Australia
* Strong communication skills across sensitive and complex clinical issues
* Ability to work independently and within small, multidisciplinary teams
* Proven problem-solving, decision-making and patient-focused practice
* Experience contributing to clinical governance, audits or quality improvement
