Why This Internship Exists
We're running multiple flagship events across cities, and we need people who can help us
fill rooms, build momentum, and convert interest into action
.
This internship gives you direct exposure to:
* B2B sales conversations
* Sponsor and partnership outreach
* Event-led growth strategies
* Real commercial decision-making
You'll work side-by-side with the Founder, inside live GTM workflows that impact
attendance, partnerships, and revenue
.
This is not observational.
You will be doing the work.
What You'll Actually Do
Outbound & Event Sales
* Call and engage a targeted list of founders, operators, and Sales, HR & Tech leaders
* Explain the LiveHaus value clearly and confidently
* Convert interest into confirmed event attendance
Partnership & Sponsorship Outreach
* Reach out to potential sponsors and partners
* Qualify opportunities and book meetings for the Founder
* Capture insights, objections, and feedback from real conversations
Pre-Event Momentum
* Confirm attendance via phone before events
* Reduce no-shows and improve room quality
* Be a human, friendly point of contact for attendees
Post-Event Follow-ups
* Gather feedback from attendees
* Speak with no-shows to understand drop-offs
* Keep relationships warm for future events, referrals, and partnerships
On-the-Ground Event Support
* Help with check-ins and attendee flow
* Support speakers, partners, and logistics
* Represent LiveHaus during live events
Optional Growth Experiments
* Test outreach scripts and messaging
* Learn how event funnels convert into pipeline
* Share ideas to improve sign-ups and partnerships
Who This Role Is For
This role is ideal if you:
* Are a
Sydney-based university student
* Want hands-on experience in sales, GTM, partnerships, or startups
* Are comfortable talking to people (or want to get good fast)
* Learn best by doing, not observing
* Care about results, not just titles
Nice to have (but not required):
* Customer-facing or sales experience
* Interest in startups, SaaS, events, or communities
What You'll Walk Away With
* Practical B2B sales experience (calls, objections, conversions)
* First-hand exposure to partnerships and sponsorship deals
* Confidence in commercial conversations
* A clear understanding of how events drive revenue and community
* Direct mentorship from the Founder
* Strong groundwork for future roles in
Sales, Partnerships, Account Management, or GTM
How the Team Works
We're bringing on
5 Sales Interns
for Season 2:
* One intern per flagship event
* You'll own your event from outreach → live day → follow-ups
You'll see exactly how high-quality events are
sold, delivered, and monetised
