About The Role
We are seeking a labourer/general hand to join our onsite WA teams. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to get in on the ground floor, learn a wide range of skills and develop their career. The role is working within both the mining and municipal markets, rosters will vary between 2:1 and 3:1 rotations. No qualifications are necessary, however a mechanical or construction background is desirable. Initially, the majority of work will be within Western Australia, including yard based work in Pinjarra, however future work may require travel to regional sites around Australia.
Responsibilities include:
* Assisting with mobilisation and demobilisation of our dredging sites.
* Unpacking, cleaning and repacking equipment including pumps, hoses and dredges.
* Operating equipment under the guidance of the site supervisor or dredge operator.
* Learning to operate our proprietary equipment, including dredges and polymer dosing systems.
* Performing duties in line with our WH&S policies and procedures.
About You
* Physically fit – comfortable with manual handling within WH&S guidelines
* Construction white card is required.
* Mechanical and/or construction experience is desirable
* Willingness to learn
* Sufficient internet access and computer skills to complete online inductions
* Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical and periodic drug and alcohol screening when required for specific projects
* Have or willingness to obtain a National Police Check
* Willingness to get appropriate vaccinations for work on wastewater treatment sites
* Current Full Australian driver's licence
