About the RoleConcrete Batching Plant Operator to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating batching equipment to produce high-quality concrete, ensuring compliance with specifications, and maintaining the safe and efficient running of the plant.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate batching plant controls to produce concrete in line with project requirements and quality standards.Weigh and mix aggregates, cement, water, and additives accurately according to batch specifications.Monitor plant operation, adjusting controls to regulate production output, pressure, speed, and flow.Inspect, clean, and maintain plant equipment, including conveyors, mixers, silos, and storage bins.Perform minor servicing, lubrication, and basic repairs as required.Ensure safe storage and handling of raw materials.Work from mix job sheets, drawings, and verbal instructions.Complete production records, quality checks, and daily reports.Follow all safety procedures, environmental regulations, and company policies.Skills & Experience RequiredPrevious experience operating a concrete batching plant or similar production equipment.Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting.Knowledge of concrete mix designs and quality control requirements (desirable).
