In the role of Product Sales Representative, you will be responsible for increasing penetration of automotive aftermarket products and exceeding sales forecasts in your designated territory.
Key Responsibilities:
* To increase product adoption and drive sales growth through effective customer engagement and relationship-building.
* To develop and execute annual sales plans, focusing on key performance indicators and business objectives.
* To identify and capitalize on market segment and alternative channel opportunities for automotive aftermarket products.
* To prepare and execute promotional calendars to drive sales throughout the transportation industry.
* To foster strong relationships with key account contacts at head office level and support the execution of plans through the distribution network.
* To take responsibility for other products or projects as required, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A Higher School Certificate or equivalent qualification is required.
* Certification in Paint Technician or Panel Beater Technician is preferred.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional sales role, preferably in an industrial setting.
* Knowledge of industrial products or terminology is an advantage.
* Strong selling and key account management skills are essential.
* High degree of computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel analysis, and PowerPoint is required.
* Business acumen, verbal communication skills, and attention to detail are crucial.
* Excellent presentation and listening skills are necessary for success in this role.
* A confident manner, internal team collaboration, and external customer interaction are vital.
* Strong problem-solving ability, resourcefulness, and innovation to fulfill customer requirements are essential.
* Strong recent sales results and previous supervisory experience are desirable.
