Job Description
Our dynamic Finance Team is expanding, and we are seeking a Contracts Assistant to support our Contracts Manager. Your role will focus on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of contractual agreements, databases, and financial records.
The Contracts Assistant will manage contract completeness, ensure compliance with company policies, and oversee IFRS16 requirements in collaboration with the Senior Financial Accountant.
Your stakeholder engagement experience will be vital in liaising with internal and external parties to maintain accurate contracts, databases, and financial reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
* Maintaining secure contractual records and documentation for efficiency, legal compliance, and audits
* Performing internal due diligence on new business partners to identify risks
* Reconciling customer accounts and resolving discrepancies
* Supporting the Accounts team with customer inquiries regarding license fee payments
* Entering license and lease financial data into Tagetik for IFRS16 compliance
* Assisting the Contracts Manager with contract reviews, stakeholder collaboration, and status reporting
* Managing information flow between relevant teams
* Reviewing and approving license fee invoices in the ERP system
* Supporting the retailer change-over process with Operations & Finance teams
* Reviewing contracts for accuracy and risk with the Contracts Manager
* Streamlining internal processes where possible
* Providing general administrative support to various teams
Qualifications
What makes a great Contracts Assistant at TOMRA:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially spreadsheets and databases
* Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines calmly
* High accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills
* Experience with business licenses, contracts, and leases is advantageous
