Mightylagg Group is a specialist contractor delivering scaffolding, insulation, asbestos removal and sheet metal services across power stations and major industrial sites throughout NSW.
Due to continued project growth, we are seeking experienced Asbestos Removalists (Bonded and Friable) to join our team. This role involves working on industrial sites performing safe and compliant asbestos removal in accordance with SafeWork NSW regulations.
About the Role
As an Asbestos Removalist you will work within a licensed removal team assisting with the safe removal, containment and disposal of asbestos materials on industrial and commercial sites. Safety, compliance and teamwork are critical to this role.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform bonded and friable asbestos removal in accordance with regulations
* Assist with containment setup including enclosures and negative air units
* Follow SafeWork NSW asbestos removal procedures and site safety plans
* Correctly use PPE and decontamination procedures
* Support supervisors and team members during asbestos removal works
* Maintain clean and compliant work areas
* Participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings
Essential Requirements
* Asbestos Removal Ticket – Bonded (Class
B) or Friable (Class A)
* Construction White Card
* Strong commitment to safety and compliance
* Physically fit and capable of manual work
* Ability to follow procedures and work within a team
* Willingness to travel to industrial sites across NSW
